Illustration Friday-"Save"

I once donated $15 to the World Wildlife Fund in a fit of generosity, and ever since they have hounded me with mailings about saving those pandas. I haven't donated a dime since, and I think several trees have lost their lives to the newsletters, promos, and misspelled address labels I have received from the WWF. But that's beside the point. The point is, this Illustration Friday's topic was "save", and I am doing my part by telling other people to donate $15 to forever be on WWF's mailing list. The address labels are really nice...if they spell your name right.

Haha, yes, WWF can be quite the nuisance sometimes. I'm always trying to avoid their reps at the mall. Their aggressiveness scares me.

Nice illustration, I like the concept. :)

Love that wall. Infact, I'd love to hang that on my wall. It would be clever and save me from having to buy all that stuff.

When I was a kid, the WWF was just a bunch of naked guys fighting.

I've heard they just spend the money you donate, to solicit more people with more mailings...nice.

Congrats, Sarah, on your first picture book! I peeked at your website and Patrick looks like a fun book - I'll be watching for it.

I get mailings from credit card companies all the time, and I have given them anything. Just think of the trees and unwanted trash that would be avoided if all unsolicited mail was stopped.

Anyway, nice illustration!

Had the same thing happen to me with Greenpeace.
Not very "green".
